The Lemon Tree house is a rustique style parian house. It includes a private WC/Shower, one living room, with a sofa that converts into 2 single beds and one armchair that unfolds into a single bed, and a double bedroom with a small balcony overlooking the pedestrian street covered with a gorgeous bouganvilie. The outdoor staircase leads to the roof terrace with a beautifull bouganvilie and overlooks the next door byzantin church, the village houses and the mountain.

The Orange Tree is an authentic traditional sotne-built two floor house, with an internal wooden stairs. It is located centraly, next to a Byzantine church from 1618 A.D. The ground floor includes WC/Shower, consists of a living room with a built in sitting corner, a sofa bed which can be converted into 2 single beds and armchair that unfolds into a single bed. On the upper floor is a double bed room with also WC/Shower. Orange Tree features an equipped kitchen and a small veranda. Room facilities: safety box , TV, Wifi.
The two “Traditional Houses” are located in a typical, quiet neighborhood of Parikia, in the heart of the old town, a 3 to 15 minute walk from the Market, the port, the main beaches, bus station & clubs. They have independent entrances and are set around a communal courtyard with ancient olive, apricot, banana and orange trees. They are designed in the old-fashioned Cycladic style, built with traditional materials like stone, wood etc.

Mr Dimitris Stavrakis is the owner and manager of the Aegean Village Hotel and two more hotels in Paros island, Villa Byzantino Hotel in Lefkes Village Paros and Villas Georgy Hotel in Parikia paros.
Apart from his main occupation as professor of Economics in Greece and in the Sorbonne University, Paris, Mr Dimitris’s entrepreneurial restlessness and the urge to express the Greek traditional philoxenia led him to the creation of the Aegean Village Hotel which already counts almost 30 years in offering genuine Parian experience to its visitors.

The two Traditional Houses are located in the old town of Parikia, the traditional historical center of Parikia. In a couple of minutes walking distance from the four Traditional Houses you can reach the local Market Street and the Byzantine cathedral of Ekatontapiliani, named the church of the “Hundred Doors”. In 5 minutes walking distance from the two Traditional Houses you can get to the 13th century Venetian Castle, the archeological Museum, and the archeological sites of Parikia, art galleries, the seafront road, the port and the local boat taxis. In less than 5 minutes walking distance from the four Traditional Houses you can reach two of Parikias’ main beaches, the clubbing area and the central bus station.

How to find The Traditional Houses (in 5 minutes walking distance from the port)
From the port, leaving the ferry, left hand you can see already (or ask for) the Cathedral named “Panagia Ekatontapiliani”. Go towards it, opposite of the cathedral you find a small shop for handbags, a book shop and a shop with clothes. Opposite of this shop is a small pedestrian way following it to the end you already can see on right hand a building with windows and balconies in colours: blue, mustard yellow, and Bordeaux red. The reception desk of Traditional Houses is at Hotel Aegean Village. The entrance of Aegean Village is a stone built arc.
At the reception door you will find a message for you in case the reception is closed for some reason.
